I’ve recently decided to build my portfolio in a few new areas, and I hope to offer some of these types of sessions in the future as either an add on or included in my wedding collections. Stephanie agreed to work with me on a Rock the Dress session.
On her actual wedding day, back in March of this year, there was a DOWNPOUR. We were not able to go outside for any shots. When I decided to do this, she was the first person I thought of. Not only because of what Mother Nature decided to do on her wedding day, but because Stephanie is so much fun and full of laughter. I knew she’d make the perfect model. Oh, and her husband, Gannon…he’s not too shabby either!
If you do a web search for “Rock the Dress” or “Trash the Dress” you’ll find some pretty amazing images. Some are kind of “out there” too! I chose to call my sessions Rock the Dress, because I’m fairly confident that when we’re finished, your dress will still be perfectly fine (if you’ve googled Trash the Dress by now, you’ll see that some brides have no intentions of the dress to surviving the shoot).
My goal with a Rock the Dress session is to provide you with a fun experience and second chance to wear that dress again, this time in a more relaxed atmosphere where we dont have to worry about it getting a little dirty. After all, once this session is over, the dress will be cleaned and likely preserved and put away for many years. Why not rock it one more time?
I’m currently offering this session at no charge to my brides (past, present, and future). There are some restrictions and limitations, so just email or call me to discuss. If you aren’t one of my brides, no worries! I’m offering a limited time discount for you too! Contact me for details.
Now, enjoy a few of my favorites from Stephanie’s (and Gannon too!) Rock the Dress session. Thank you so much, Stephanie, for being so much fun to work with, and for rockin’ that beautiful gown again on the beach!
