Atlanta Vintage Books is one of the coolest places we’ve visited since moving here. If you’re a book nerd like, me you will LOVE this place! It’s owned by Bob Roarty and Jan Bolgla since 2007.
As you stroll through sniffing the books (any book nerd will tell you that part of the joy of a REAL book is the smell. No judging) you’ll notice many of the store’s residents/mascots. Or, should I say masCATS? Anyway, you’ll be drawn to their penetrating eyes, adorable faces, and soft fur. I DARE you to not kneel down and talk baby talk and let you fingers get losts in their thick coats. Dare you!
Anyway, back to the books. There are over 70,000 vintage and rare books in the store. You could spend a lifetime here and never get your fill.
I’m pretty sure there’s a part of heaven that looks exactly like this.
Make sure to say hello to all of the feline residents: Boo, Callie, Frieda, Little Boo, and Mickey.
